Default Porting out your throttle body: is it worth it?

Ive never done it to anything ive every owned. so i have a few questions? is it worth the time to do it? how much difference dose it make and how much time is the project?

that isn't really an Internal modification considering the TB isnt inside the engine.

Used the Search button at the top of the page for you and searched for Ported

is it goin to help ??? maybe a lil... is it a significant difference that you need to mess with your throttle body ??? probably not.. but its a cheap mod none the less... its up to you if you want to spend a few dollars, one thing is for sure, its not goin to decrease your performance.

helps with throttle response. you lose torque below 4000 and gain top end with a ported, if I remember correctly. I did a side by side dyno comparison last week when I dynoed my tahoe, but have been too lazy to post up about it. I get back in town this weekend and will scan in the graphs and post up.

you don't lose torque with a ported throttle body.....

if anything it was due to heat soak or some other problem
