Yeah the idle problems went away, if want check out s2performance.com, it has detailed instructions on how to relearn the idle without a retune.

Sounds like another binding butterfly to me. When you guys remove the tb blade, they must be put back in precisely, you must be able to push the plate all the way closed and open without any sticky spots or bind in the least otherwise you may experience this erratic operation. Idle relearn should take place within the first few minutes of operation after the modification if needed. I can almost guarantee, if the porting job was done properly, and reinstallation of the blade is clear, your engine will run virtually the same way it did before at idle, and pretty close on startup, in dbw apps, rpm may flare more on ignition but should return to idle as normal. There has been many that have proven this. As far as i'm concerened if you have ported you tb in the area at which the blade sits at idle and you must do idle relearn you've gone too far. Off idle positioning of the plate is where you are looking for your gain. Essentially, you want the idle to be calm, stock flow, past there is the point of the port job.

My blade doesn't stick. The the idle did eventually settle down, but when you give it throttle, the rpms try to stay at what you revved too and come down slowly. Also, with the key on, engine off, you can hear the motor in the tb making a small high pitched whine like it's tryin to move the balde but it's stuck.

All these symptoms still lead me to believe you have bindage, or possibly a damaged position sensor/motor. Whether or not thats the case, what i would do is remove your intake tube and have someone key the engine and operate the pedal from wot to rest several times, observe the operation, and listen for motor operation, even unbolt the three nuts, and hold the body in hand while remaining plugged in to closer examine. If you hear the motor buzzing when its sitting there at key on, and no input, it sounds like its trying to reposition itself slightly, but can't, or maybe its not sure where its supposed to be. Either way after the first few seconds of key on the tb should go silent. Even if you need idle relearn it shouldn't sit there and whine with no input.
Anyways see what you can see, obviously if your tb worked fine before porting, and you never dropped it when you had it off, i kinda doubt you have motor issues. If you do get fed up and decide to buy new, i'd love to have a look at it, but hope you don't have to resort to that! good luck!

Well, today, I disconnected the negative battery terminal because I know it makes your pcm relearn, and bam, she ran like a top with the ported throttle body in park. I ran to get some pizza. Drove prolly 10 miles. In gear, it wouldn't idle lower than 1700. It was like I constantly had cruise control on. Any ideas? Btw, I have HP Tuners, so is there anything I can do using it to help?

Ok, Now, my only problem is in gear. It idles fine in park/neutral, but in gear it idles high. Like 1700-1800. It's like I constantly have cruise control on. Could I go to my desired idle speed table in HPT and lower my desired idle rpm? I figured out my problem. Upon further inspection, I realized I ported a lil too close to the blade and theres a bigger gap there. Am I screwed with this tb, or can I tune it out?

I believe if you lower the throttle cracker table it might help with the cruise control affect...
