Default Ported TB Now High Idle

I ported my throttle body tonight, and went and drove it around tonight and it idles from 1000 to about 1450 rpms, i was just wondering if any ones had any of these problems??

silly question: have you checked your idler screw?

i went out and drove it around some more. when i first started it it idle at 600 like it usually does.. drove it around some more and stopped and put it in park again and it idled at 600. so i go home and go to put it in park and there it goes 1300 rpm. it did this once to me about 2 months ago. if no one really knows oh well it dont really bother me i was just wantin to know if any one had heard of intermittin problem like this

I have heard of the high idle all the time condition cause someone ported the area where teh blade seats at and caused an air gap there so more air was able to pass by the blade but not what you are talking about.

I never got close to the lip of the throttle blade, i still got room for some more port work because my tool wore out so ill go back in there tonight to do some more to it. but oh well didnt idle up when i went to work today.
