Ported 862 Castings Gone! On to PRC 2.5 243 Castings...:)
Craigslist was very good to me in the last few weeks.
Scored a set of PRC 2.5 243 Castings with 58cc chambers with a few hundred miles.
I traded a set of used Nitto 420s 20" tires and $100 for the heads!
I installed everything yesterday and fired it up last night...Just need to get some logs and send them in. Sounds freaking awesome! Used .040" Cometics and I can tell already the low end is alot better with the increase of compression.
Will try and get some Idle clips up here soon. Hopefully will get the nitrous bottle filled next weekend also.
I ended up trading the ported 862 heads and few other parts laying around today for a nice set of Ported 317's for my LQ9! Getting closer to finishing up that build now....just need tear down the bottom end and install all new bearings and rings.
