Porsche 944 swap with 5.3l Help
#37
I'm about finished with my swap. I took pics to show how I got the factory 5.3L fuel injectors to fit the LS1 intake, just need billet fuel rails....
I simply cut off the LS1 injectors and re-crimped the Truck connectors....

1/2" standoff spacers on the fuel rail studs does the trick of lowering the fuel rail onto the 5.3 injectors and seating them in the LS1 intake injector ports, I even re-used the injector seals...

It's all done now....Love the 5.3L..... Major nuts and low end torque and with the LS1 intake and Magnaflo and no CAT she hauls *** in stock form...
I do have another question...does the starter bolts need sealant? I read that certain bolts on these motors need sealant because the bolts are tapped all the way thru into the block
