Default Pop sound only at idle

Only when my truck is in park and at idle you can hear a kinda popping sound. It's not really consistent. But if I put the truck in gear where it has a load on it but sitting still you can't hear it. Ive noticed it ever since i did the motor/cam swap. its always been the same noise. i did try another flowmaster because the one that was on it was 6 years old.Is it a tuning issue? It's only a mail order tune.

Cam is from SDPC HT-1 They are a sponsor>. It's a comp cam but sdpc specs grind. Specs are 214/218 duration 559/562 lift I think. On a 111 lsa. I'm still on a stock 287,000 mile trans and converter but she moves out pretty good no loss of low end power. I'm going to get a 3200 stall when I build the trans. If you don't have a 6 speed trans in your truck just order a mail order tune from a sponsor and do the swap.

Tune is set for premium. So I'm puttin 93 in it. I highly doubt its anything mechanical. It's been running strong for over a year now with no issues and its my daily driver. It's just weird it only does it at idle. When the Rpm's go up when you put it in gear but you can still hear the chop of the cam but no pop sound

My bosses truck sounds exactly like that and hes running the 10 series flowmaster (tiny little thing). I think its just the exhaust man, might be easier to diagnose in person though. I dont think its anything to worry about.

I like my Borla. Ive had Flowmaster (2 different sizes), Magnaflow (3 different variations), FlowMONSTER (kinda like magnaflow but cheaper), Corsa sport and now the Borla. It is my favorite out of all the different mufflers and exhaust setups ive had on my truck over the years. What part of east texas are you in? Im from Longview
