Default plugs witch ones

Hi I am about to change my heads and everyone at the dealership puts factory plugs I am woundering what you guys found to be better than stock for preformance.

For N/A applicaitons almost everyone uses NGK T55s at .050-.055 or a lil less if you're super high HP N/A.

For Supercharger/Turbo or Nitrous applications most use TR6s gapped at .035 or less in high HP applications.

I have just basic mods, but i use the bosch platinum +2. they seem to be pretty good

I suggest the NGKs also. If you look in your owner's manual, they are listed. I have the TR-55s and like them very well, cheaper than the factory platinums and IMO are better.

on a high compression setup would you lessen the gap and the plug temp range?

Depends on the compression and HP you're making. I forget the general rule of thumb but you will lessen the gap by .005 for every 50hp you're making over stock or something to that effect. Dragons are on Animal Planet right now so i gotta go. I'll get more info for ya after it's over. LOL

I am finely puting my heads on I hope this comeing weekend.I am puting heads,soild lifter,adj. rockers and I am thinking of going with the 1 3/4 headers instead of the stepers I have now.The heads are shaved 35ths
