Plug wire issue...need advice
#1
Ok, after nearly a year of running oe wires I burned through #3 wire causing a misfire on my way to school yesterday. In an attempt to save money and not wait for MSD, I bought the Borg-Warner LS2 GTO wires (2006 model).
Here is my issue, they still touch the header...just the boot portion, and not the wire. Should I still be concerned? I know technically it isn't ideal.
I was told the MSD LS2 wires won't work with my square truck coils...and the truck wires seem like they will be too long and end up with the same issue I had before unless I zip-tie or use a loom, which I am opposed to.

Anyone running the square coils and msd LS2? Or what are you running?

Thanks, getting these then 32823
I preferred the shorter style, but I'm not turning up much info on whether or not they will work. One guy said he only could get them to work with the round coils. I guess MSD has a different style boot that plugs into the coil, because the BW wire worked fine.
