plug problems
#1
i hear that running platinum plugs with nitrous isn't good...but i also heard at pep boys today that our trucks come from the factory with platinum plugs in them. i am running a 5.3 with mods, including nitrous at this time...what are your suggestions? <img border="0" alt="[Truck]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_truck.gif" />

you should run the NGK tr6 which is a copper plug they are one heat range colder than stock. The idea is that the cooler plug will avoid detonation.
people usually gap them anywhere from .35-45 depending on what you have done I'd play with the gap and see what works best with your ride.
they're are also autolite 104's i think that some people are using . just keep an eye on how your truck runs after you put them in, i have heard that they have few factory dud's
