Please Help Me Go Faster!!!

I want to get in the 12's really bad I wouldn't even care if it was like a 12.9 run. My mods so far are my whipple with 10psi, lunati cam 221/221 558/558, headers, ok exhaust 2 into 1, nelson tune, et streets and I guess thats about it. I have the 4.8 engine which I want to keep to make a 12 sec run and I really don't want nos but may consider it. I was thinking of a intercooler so I could run more boost or more timing. So far my best run is a 13.705 at 98.4 mph. Does anybody have any suggestions. Please help me go faster.

i'd step up to the ls6 intake manifold, since your already pushing more rpms with the cam. cut out. your also missing some of the simple bolt ons, (pulley, fans, ported tb). also, are you running LT headers?

A good efficient torque converter and getting rid of the Whipple electronics took several tenths off my 5.3/Whipple. That is where I would start. You are probably gonna have to spray it to get there.

Focus in on your tranny and rear end now.
How about a 3200 vig stall paired with some 3.73 gears?
Get some head work done. You could get a set of 5.7L heads worked over cheap.
Last, finish off the bolt ons. LT headers, asp pulley, e-fans, ported throttle body.
O yeah, im not sure how your wipple hooks up? Fit you on a LS6 intake manifold. I think it'll support your cam in those upper rpm's that it brought you into.
edit: one more thing. How about cut outs in place of the converters?

I was thinking of getting a stall because mine now is just stock but I do have 3.73's in the rear. One thing that will help me is fixing my two three shift because it rev limits(2-3 times) right before it shifts into third. I really want to get HPtuners so I can max my timing out and get my air/fuel ratio perfect. I have my e-fans coming in on tuesday so maybe that will help alittle but I geuss I have a little work in front of me before I get in the 12's. Thinks alot guys for the help.

wow, there is still alot you can do with the 4.8L
I am running 14.4's on just motor
If I was to ad a S/C I would be real close to being in the 12's
A stall would be my first choice.but you may need to get the tranny looked at, and then a cam, and gears, sounds like you are on the right track though
