I was fortunate enough to get my headers a few months before the big GP. Thank goodness. I think it took me about a month from order to delivery.

Someone whould track down Mike Hamm and see if he is still making these headers. They really are great. Ceramic coated, inside and out. I know they are a couple inches shorter than the ASMs. If Hamm can make these, then maybe he could make them 2 inches longer with a 3" collector using larger primaries. Plus the price was great - $525 plus shipping.

Couldn't beat the price either.

Hey 4.8 what are the pros and cons on this headers? How long did it take to get them on and what was the labor damage?

IMO, they're non better on the market yet. TOG and Hamm/Lapoles are an extremly close second though. I don't think you will go wrong with any of them. My AS&M's fit great. I was impressed with the quality. I got mine within a week of ordering them from Tbyrne. But I do know that all thse header manufacters make these in lots. So unless some are on the shelf, there can be a wait period. But as popular as they are getting on the trucks, I don't see as big of a problem as in the past. My beef with Hamm (no pun intended) was about his cutomer service and bussiness practices especially after that fiasco of a GP that JSmith and BigKID were refering to. As far as labor, it was my own. It should have took about 3 hours, but I took about 5 because I used a manual tailpipe cutter to cut in front of the cats instead of a sawzall.

I installed my own too. I used the mighty sawzall though. The passenger side was a bit of a pain but the driver side flew by. It took me about 3-4 hours. I there was thing I could change about the Hamms would be to rotate the EGR tube flange so you can access the bolts easier when your reconnecting it.
