I did a Yahho search under Perfect Circle Piston Rings and got engineparts.com/parts . It's owned by Clevite which is a Dana co.

Hit "products" ...it's in Adobe format and they make them for every concievable engine ever made,it seems I saw the 4.8 and 5.3 Vortec listings, through 2003.

Have you tried the dealership or do you want piston rings that can handle some serious abuse? Cuz im sure that any dealership worth its salt would be able to get them. Did you fry them or something??

no i bought a motor off ebay and wanted to pull it apart and check everything out and i was trying to find some rings that could hold up to some boost probably 7-10 psi daily at the least 7 couse thats what the spring in it is. are the stock gm ones good enough for that. and what all can i check to ensure the ones in it now are good enough to not have to swap.
