So Im here in Reno for Hot August Nights. And I go to Summit Racing to get some 4.10,s. The only gears they have in stock are Richmond that say they will not work with pinions equiped with a rectifier for ABS?!

What the hell is that? Can I use these gears and still have ABS without that light comeing on .

 

Not sure about that....I had the richmonds and I took them out because they were too loud.

 

Other than the noise did you have any problems?
Was the noise whine?

 

no problems at all, just whined like a cat in heat. put the OEM 4:10's in and the whine went away.

 

I got 4:10s from Precision Gear and they're quiet. Got them from a company on e-bay. Can't remember the name but they're out of New York. They've got the oem's as well and you can't beat their prices.
