Default Pictures of my 40K miles CAT's with Radix

I've seen several posts with guys having trouble melting their cats behind the radix. I keep expecting to tear it down and find problems but so far so good.

Don't know the brand but came with the Dynatech header system.

Passenger inlet.

Passenger outlet.

Drivers inlet.

your cats have a sensor? They look good as new, I hope mine are in such good condition.

I'm sure they don't make them so should be able to find a source for them. I think I read they were Magnaflows? Dunno for certain.

1) Because it's the law and I don't want to pay $1000 EACH (equals a $2000 ticket) to be caught without them.
2) because I try NOT to be a gross polluter.

You live in Cali. So it's understandable with those smog *****.

As far as your 2nd point, the LS engines burn so efficiently, even with no cats you are not a "gross polluter." I live in St. Louis city and there are so many garbage cars putting out plumes of smoke...that's a gross polluter. What about all the old buses and trucks putting out massive amounts of soot and pollution with no regulation? That's gross pollution.

Mine by choice. No major concerns with the law here. Why add any more crap to the air if you can still make the power with them? If and when they fail I will take them out.
