Default Pics of Piston Damage!

I finally got around to getting some pics of the piston that was damaged. There are also some pics of the head damage and the new block. I didnt get any pics of the block because it is already in the process of getting redone! Enjoy!

Those deep cuts are from that chunk that came off was just rolling around tearing **** up. Thats why we were thinking that what ever caused that happened that night and not over a peiod of time because I would think I would have heard and felt that and I did that night! Yuk its nasty!

I am really happy with the LS1. It is really a totally diferent truck at all speeds and what Im really liking besides the assload of TQ is the amount of uymp it still ahs left when cruising at 75+ with 4.10 gears!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the new motor, and now that everything's going good for you, I kinda figured it would be ok to say "I told you so"!. I had a bad feeling that you damaged the piston when you said you had a bad pushrod. Just kidding tho, I'm glad it all worked out for your benefit in the end! Now be easy on this one....NOT.
