headers dont take long to install, if shop charges 50 and hour, you ahve 2 hours tops into them. so now he still has 900 in labor sorry dont think so.

I know you said after the tire, but you wanted to see the tips. Not sure they would look good after the tire since they are rectangle and behind the tire is so slanted.

Like I said smartass.....Go get a quote first. I guarantee you will not find a shop to do it that cheap. There is no reputable shop going to install your headers for $100. I bet $300-500 in labor for the header install.
I don't care if it takes "you" 2 hrs to install them, the labor rate system doesn't work that way. You haven't worked in a shop have you?
A $50/per hour shop??? Where? Haven't seen those cheap ones. It must be located in the middle of "Nowhere's Ville"!
You'll find 4-6hrs of labor time for this type of job.

Live in PGH, 1st Try engineering charges $40/hr dispshit now before you go running youre mouth know more facts. along with installing headers he'll do a full stainless mandel bent exhaust including mufflers and tips for less then that.

have i worked in a shop? dont need to i do my own work know what it takes and know what local shops charge.

6 hours of labor to install headers is a rip off. most ppl cant even turn a wrench are the ones getting beat over the head in prices

You can barely see it but I have a single 3.5" pipe in front of the rear tire.

I totally agree with those charges and the amount of time for a header install.
I too do my own work. Though if I ran a shop, I wouldn't be screwing my myself with such low charges to a customer and having to pay my techs more than what I charged.......
It only makes sense.
