It just looks a lot cleaner tucked up closer to the fender to me. We need an IMO smilie here, haha. Yours doesn't look bad, I've seen some that hung down way lower

I quoted several shops in my area. They were all within $100 of each other. I provided the LTs, and cats. They did the install. Seemed pretty damn high to me as well.
The Govt. sees fit to pay me more $$ to check my email in Afghanistan than when I'm in FL. So it was a present to myself after I got back to the real world. Your tax dollars at work.

Why spend that much on a pre-fabbed kit that I would have to cut up to fit my needs? I'm not sure anybody makes a "Performance" exhaust for a Tahoe.
I wanted the driverside from the LT to the cat to be removeable for dropping the tranny. It is. I can have it off in about 2 minutes. I wanted the WB O2 bung on the D side as well. I wanted 2 magnaflows arranged as in the pic. Mandrel bends weren't a concern for me. I wanted the tips angled etc....The labor was high but, I never have to do it again. Lost 2psi of boost but, maintained the same power level. (with tuning) Seems like a pretty good performance exhaust to me.

Great looking set ups. I do like the corsas tucked up to the body, that was about the only complaint, aside from at first thinking the tips would look to big. The duals on the hoe look great to, but I am probably going to go the budget route, just replace the muffer, and put some nice tips on.

But you have to live in California.

Here's my thread on it:
https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...ng+for+exhaust

I didnt say I thought it was a good deal. But I didnt want to do it because I had a dyno appt and needed it done in two days. So I paid the man. For reference my buddy who was gonna help me weld the exhaust up just got his tanks to tig/mig weld last week. The exhaust went on in July. I'm not that patient.

What was this thread originally about.......?

never said anything about a prefab. you can get custom exhaust with mandrel bends for alot less money. those bends arent helping but if youre happy youre happy. i personally would of never paid that much for a midas exhaust

That's not expensive.....They installed his LT's as well. You guys are not paying attention to that.
Go get a price quote of having LT headers installed, then talk. They did all the exhaust work labor + parts. Not really all that bad if you think about it.
