Picked up some 6.0L heads
#1
Gonna stick em on the new 5.3L setup.
I didn't really feel like taking the time to find a good 6.0L for the swap as I want my truck back asap and I'm thinking that with the 6.0L heads I wont be making a ton less HP as the main diff. is just cubes now and that wont account for too much HP. The main thing is the lowered compression. Now I can run boost to achieve the same HP level and be safer than before.
My main goal with this truck is to make great HP but keep it at a safe level and drive the **** out of it. What good is peak power when you can't get on it for fear of breaking? LOL
Anyway, is there any way I can calculate what my new compression ratio will be with these heads? If i start off with 9.5:1 then is there a simple formula I can use? I don't have the specs on either head as far as CC. Any advice?
