Default Performance difference in TT3000 and 3200?

What kind of performance difference would there be between a Yank TT3000 and a Yank 3200? Also, can you use something like a SS3600 in the trucks without much trouble? Whatever happened to the new converters with dual clutches that allow for a 3200+ stall speed and still being able to tow over 4000 lbs.?

Not sure on the new converters. But the 3000 is a larger diameter converter and has a larger lockup apply area than the smaller diameter 3200 stall.

I've got an ss3800 in my truck. I'd say its the limit of streetability with a loud exhaust. A 3600 would probably be liveable with a quiet exhaust and a truck 480 lbs or less. Mine weighs 4800 (raceweight), I wouldn't want to put this converter on a heavier truck.

Performance wise, the SS's absolutely smoke the TT3000! I picked up .5 OVER my TT3000 with the 3800!

TT3000 still maintains full towing capability. not sure how much is lost on bigger. I've heard of .6-.7 gains in ET with the 3000 though
