Default PCV delete

Hey guys thinking about getting a new intake and was wondering how you guys are deleting the pcv valve because I don't want any oil/carbon build up in the new intake. From what I understand from reading is you just get a breather and put on the pcv then plug the hole in the (stock) intake. What do you guys think?

What brand would you suggest? Cheap but works good.

Where's the best place to buy with the best price?

there's all kinds out there. the one im running is this: Catchcans.com

its been doing good. just don't buy and run the ebay ones as they do require some modding to work and just overall not the best.

i would just say do a little more searching to see what others are out there because there are some that are better but cost a lot more.

Alright I'll check into that correct me if im wrong but a catch can has 2 hoses one goes tothe pcv and the oother goes to the intake and in the can there's a filter that catches all the oil. Do you change these filters out or is there a drain plug

there isn't really a filter per-say. the one i have has a filter like media that allows the oil droplets to condense and collect on the bottom of the can. some of the others have baffles to do the same thing. no need to change anything in there, just empty every so often. there's a plug on the bottom that opens and close to empty.

the can is plumbed in between the valve cover and intake like you said. if you take a look at the pic the can is next to the alt and the red battery box thing thats the can just follow the lines.

Your welcome you will also need i think 3/8 transmission tube. Prob 5ft or so. Better to have to much then not enough.

Also the top is to the valve cover and side to the top of the intake. I also used liquid thread sealant on tbe brass fittings to make sure that they are air tight.
