i have the flexalite vsc too but it cycles WAY to fast, like every 30sec and i hate it. i am going to use it still but just control it with the pcm, just use it as a relay e basicly. also i will just set it real high so if something goes wrong with the pcm input it will still come on eventualy. should be done in an hour or so and be able to confirm that it works.

Parish .. something to keep in mind with that VSc, it's active for 30seconds after power is removed and it takes 6 seconds to initiate once it sees a signal from the ignition switch wire.

fans and whipple computer, when i asked whipples tech about my "floating temp guage" i was told that the whipple computer modifies the signal to the pcm, so it can run with the 160 thermo they provide. wouldn't that be a problem using the pcm to control the fans. the gauge is just a reflection of what the computer "thinks" the sending unit is reading. not an analog gauge.

Tiburon: Your fan schematic will work properly as drawn, but it would be more "automotive correct" to frame ground the fan motors and let the relays supply the +12 volts when they energize, instead of the opposite.

Just a tip for those wiring these up.

jinxed myself with that one i guess, i did get the pcm to write once and i programed it to turn on AUX fans on and that didn't work, i am waiting to be able to rewrite it again but with the 2fan setting and see if that works.

maybe in a few weeks i will figure out how to get edit to work right and be able to report back.
