#42 on the blue one. After just finishing the 5.3 conversion on my 94 work truck I can recite almost all the pins from memory!

Does the truck PCM turn the fans on if the AC is on?

Mine doesn't. I had to run a separate relay for A/C operation with the clutch wire used to trigger it.

i have been told it wont with the truck pcm either, it would be cool if someone would figure that part out.

thanks for the pin number.

I'm currently running the flex-a-lite 282's with the VSC controller. The VSC has a relay for the A/C and a wire that taps into the A/C clutch wire. The thing I don't like is that the temperature control on the VSC seems to be stuck on low ~180. I have considered removing the sensor and using the #42 pin to turn the fans on instead.

vsc

my vsc screwed me once, apparently the rheostat had a bad connection and shut my fans down completely while i was towing a trailer up a hill. sprayed some contact cleaner in it and turned it back and forth a few times. haven't had any problems since. thinking of converting mine also.

What pin is it that you need in order to do this??

From what I have heard the truck pcm has the option to switch on the fans. It just has to be enabled using LS1Edit. Hope that is the right info.
