Guys,

I did try the search, but it came up with speed limits a lot of you have set your PCM to with LS1 Edit. So, what is the PCM set top speed for the Escalade or GM trucks? I was spanking a local freak on the freeway nicely until somewhere around 110-115 showing on the speedo.....

My 02 z71 was at 97.
My 03 is a little more indepth than that. At 95 it starts cutting back on throttle, closing the fly by wire throttle) until you hit 100 where it levels off and will hold 100.

 

I believe its 98mph. I think thats what mine was at till Edit removed it.

 

Mine was 98mph, but farmtruc tuned it with ls1edit.

Now its 200mph.

 

You hit 200MPH yet?

Mine was like 97MPH, but my HPP3 took that away.

 

Mine was 98mph also but also HPP3 took it away whats the top speed with the HPP3 126mph??

 

I never wanted to find out with the stock tires.....

 

You know, I set mine to 116MPH with the HPP3, but when I went to get that Magnaflow over at Richard's(Oxidizr) shop, he took it all the way to 130MPH...

 

So, you know it was 98 due to PCM data or from your speedo? I am guessing mine is somewhere around 100 as well...Just took it for a drive again and it seems to be pointing right around the 100-105 area(that may be good with my 22's on there for a corrected 98). It definately seems to be a throttle control, as there is no cutting out of cylinders( rev limit ) as I reach it. I can definately feel the power dropping, though, starting in the mid to upper 80mph range.
