Default PCM/ECU questions.

I have a lifted 2006 GMC Sierra Denali, some of you might have seen it on here about a year ago for sale by the previous owner.

Anyways, my PCM/ECU is constantly grounding the EVAP vent valve for the gas tank. I have a new computer, but my concern is... My truck has a Blackbear hot tune on it, is it possible to have the tune removed and then placed on the new computer? Or will I just have to wait and pay to have it retuned?

Any comments or answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You should contact Black Bear for his policy.

If the PCM is Brand New from the dealer it might need to be flashed first by the dealer or someone with equivalent programing capabilities Before a tuning device can be used on it.
