Tell them you will be using the PCM for fan control (that is a setting they will have to turn on). Then give them your on/off temps for the fan.

Just tell them that you want the Pcm to control the fans and that you have a 160T-stat. They will know the temps to turn them on/off at.

Default pcm controlled fans

Tell them to edit the following tables. For a 160 thermostat. If you have any more questions or problems let me know I just did this a month or two ago.

System calibration tab(or window)
first stage fan
on 189
off 182

second stage fan
on 189
off 182

electric fan type
(toggle) aux fan

Sorry to bring this up from the dead, but Id like to set some LS1 fans to come on with HPTuners. I see the settings mentioned, but what about the
VATS Control
Serial
PWM
None.... is default

Ignition Off
Disable temp ?
Run Time ?

And what about AC settings?
Thanks alot

Talking

for the truck there is just a temp setting. 189 on and 182 off. the relays will decide about the a/c controls. three relays>>>>
1 fan on with a/c--temp cool
engine to temp both fans 50%
engine to temp and a/c both fans 100%
