Default The parts are coming...

TR 220/220 112, Comp 918s, pushrods arrived this morning, TB stall is scheduled to get here tomorrow... If my tune gets here this week, might be able to do the install this weekend. I heard the gaskets are reusable, but is there anything else I need to have or know before jumping into this install? Im going to have two days to get this done. Have to be ready to drive to work on monday morning.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Ohh, and how do you think the tranny is going to hold up? Am I in the danger zone yet with the 4L60? I plan on taking it easy though, until I can get it beefed up a bit.

Any estimated track times?

The Tr220/112 Should Have A Healthy Lope In The 4.8...definetly Gonna Need A Posi Or Some D/r's.....4l60e's Are In The Danger Zone In A Bone Stock Truck....just Depends On How Hard You Run It. To Get A Little Bit More Life Out Of The Tranny, Get A Shift Kit And Servo's... Couldnt Really Tell You On The Track Times.... HOW BIG OF A TIRE ARE YOU RUNNING WITH THAT 5/7 DROP? IM FEELING LIKE MINE ISNT LOW ENOUGH ANYMORE.

Is this your first cam install? The only tough part is getting the cam out. spin it a few times to get the lifters up in the keeper, they should stay up. Then wiggle and turn the cam while pulling it out. Takes patience but youll get it. It may feel like its stuck but maost likely it will be hung up on the bearing journal, just pull and turn it, it will come out. Then reverse the process to install the new one. Good luck.

The T220 is a good cam. The TB Stall should work with it but I recommend you get at least a 3000rpm converter to get you closer to the cam's power band and get more out of the cam. I have an Edge racing 2400-2600 stall and is working fine but need a bigger one so I am getting my tranny built and a Vig 3000-3200 is going in.
It will have a nice lope to it.
