Default parish, did you use shorter pushrods?

there's a 222/226 .569/.573 112 on the way here, and i remember something about the smaller base circle affecting pushrod/rocker geometry, i figured with your bigger cam you might have an idea. with stock heads (no milling) will i need larger or smaller than stock?

Using a cam with larger lift (meaning smaller base circle), you'll need longer pushrods than stock if you have no milling, stock gasket thickness, and stock valve extension. How much longer will depend on the size of the cam. For that one, you'll be fine with 7.4" pushrods on a stock setup.

seth told me i didnt need longer push rods. how much smaller is that circle because the next size up in push rods is .050 longer and that is quite a bit. he gave me the impresion that the stock length is closer to ideal than the next size up but we would need to know the before and after base circle to know for sure.
