i have a question for you concerning your 3 inch 22inch long muffler system for the std cab shrt bed sierra. mine is a 04 and i want a exhaust system but mot a loud would when cruising around. iwas also wondering if the system bolts on at the flange right after the y pipe.
im startingto save now but this answer in advance would be nic eto know if im going in the right direction

 

It sounds like your referring to the Magnaflow system? I can check on this for you in the morning. They haven't listed some of their '03 exhausts for the '04 yet but they should bolt right on.

I just bought the dual exit Magnaflow with the 18" muffler I believe. The only problem I had was the hangers that they included for the tips didn't fit into the hole in my frame, the hole was too big. So I picked up some oversize washers from Lowe's and didn't have any other problems.

 

Didn't get an answer about this yesterday but will try again on Monday.
