Default Paging Brooke

Did you use a window switch on your TNT install? I'm wondering how well the 4L80 will hold up. This is a 2001 2500HD (A4/4.10) that we just put an NX kit on as you can see from the other post.

Also, what jetting are you using with your's. I saw you said 125. I wasnt aware of TNT sending out a 125 set of jets...is it actually the 150 jets and perhaps rated lower on the 6.0 vs. LS1???

TIA
Ryan

Hey Ryan,

Not running a window switch on my kit but I do advise using one.. My 4l80 feels great under the spray and shifts really smooth , even with the custom drilled 125 shot.I only shift once in the 1/4 mile, so the tranny doesn`t have to work that hard.. I have 30,000 miles on my 01, A4 with 4.10`s and about 30 all out nitrous runs with no tranny problem at all..I just changed the tranny fluid and it was clean after all the abuse..

Yes, I am running a 125 shot.. My TNT kit came with 75 shot, 100 shot and 150 shot pills.. I ran a 13.89 something with the 100 shot and then dropped about 4 tenths with the 125 shot .. Now, I will try the 150 shot with the new cam and see what happens..Of course this will be on the 285/75/16 Dunlop all terrians..

Anyway, I drilled out my 75 shot fuel and nitrous pills to half the number between the 100 shot and 150 shot TNT pills.Let me know if you need the exact sizes, I will have to go and check them again..I knmow, I had to order a really, really small drill for the fuel jet.. Its like .024 diameter..That is extremely small..

its cool. we will eventually put one on, I think he'll end up getting bored with it and selling it to me before he REALLY needs one. we went ahead and sprayed the 150 (61/33 i think) and it feels great. Hits the tires hard, no wheel hop, and just keeps pulling.

your truck was an inspiration!
