Default Uh oh

My pacesetters got bandclamped today but no mention of any leaks. Just that pesky planetary gear going, right before my 80E takes a dump on me!

I thought there was something weird about the lack of bolt up holes. And the driver side is tight for the ory.

I would run just the band clamps so that you can remove the y-pipe if you ever need to. Just make sure that they are tight.

Just placed my order with Texas-Speed for my Pacesetter ORY. Will hopefully have everything installed by the end of the month.

Be prepared for some loud exhaust with the kitties gone.

Its the same one smokeshow is running and his isn't too bad. I also have a smaller 14" case that I may try to fine a place in the system. Just need to lay it out and measure everything. The way the pipes are now will exit out the back on the passenger side. Thinking about getting a 45* pipe to exit out the stock location.

Yea, I'm kinda excited to get it installed. I'm thinking my cats are starting to clog. Getting some back pressure and getting some wired wideband reading. Speaking of which. Is there any certain type of O2 bung I should get. I've searched and they go for between $5-$30 for just a weld on bung. Its an innovative LC-1.

Andy,
I run the exact same muffler on my 2006 ccsb, just swapped out my 22" Magnaflow P/N 14590 to a 34" Magnaflow P/N 13740 . Love the tone that the truck has now. My truck also has LPP Longtubes/ORY with the stainless band clamps as well. I wrapped them with aluminum foil, then wrapped the pipes with the bandclamp. I had it exiting into 2500 hd location, but when I lowered my truck to 3/6, had to cut it before the axle, now I have a 3" turndown I need to angle to tone it down some. Exhaust is full 3" as well. Love the sound, and the retune was beneficial as well. Installed my servo at the same time, since all of the exhaust is out of the way, and I currently have a 3" cutout as well with a switch hidden for a little fun.
