Default pacesetter ory pipe question

I'm going to be redoing my exhaust within the next few months. Going with the pacesetter ory and my duramax 4" exhaust. Has anyone had any issues with the slip fit on the ory? I have some 3" 3bolt weld on flanges they I can use. Hair want to make sure there are no exhaust leaks. The way it is no there is about a 1/8" gap around the drivers side collector and I have to keep sealing it with some exhaust sealer. Any advice would be helpful.

I've got a brand new one I never even took out of the box. Didn't realize it doesn't fit my 6speed. I'll sell it to you if you haven't already bought one.

I didn't have any issues with mine leaking, but I still welded on 3-bolt flanges anyway.

Mine is slip fit. Wrap the joints with tin foil before you put on the band clamps.

We typically use band clamps, and havent had any negative feedback on them. I actually use them on my person vehicles without issue.

I used a stepped band clamp on mine similar to the one Jake linked. No issues so far.

Can the band clamps be put pn after the exhaust is hooked up or does it have to slide on before assembly?

The clamps we offer can be placed on afterwards if needed.
