Just last weekend I put pacesetter LTs, ORY and a crapmaster super40 on there...sick!!!

It sounds insane...a little doggie off the line, but the tune should fix that.

The pacesetters fell in from across the room, VERY easy install, both sides go up from the bottom, disconnect steering shaft, bolt on and go.

Don't worry too much about the inspections...everyone knows someone that will do it without the visual. I live in NY, I aint worried about it, and we're just as bad as CA. Here, they even have cameras in the shops, so they can't run one car and put the sticker on another.

I'll get a sound clip up here tonight...

Plan on getting a tune, your mileage will go to ****. Wait4me is doing mine. Very reasonable price, will do what you want, and recommend some stuff as well.

I have been talking to some of the "truck accessories" places out here and one of them said that the Pacesetter LT's are a "problemactic" kind of headers. They say that they will be good for a while but I will have to keep messing with them. The say that the flanges are too thin they will have gasket problems. Have any of you that have them had problems with them?

i personally have had not a single problem with the headers themselves as far as leaking gaskets or anything of the sort. i have had exhaust leaks since day 1 of putting them on, but that is simply because i didnt get better clamps to hold them together, and i didnt use any kind of "sealant" (i guess thats what you call it...)

I am completely happy with my set.. my only beef is, with being in texas, and how dry it is... my ORY looks like i live in michigan or something, all rusty lookin... headers look fine, ORY looks like hell.. lol.

The flanges are 3/8" thick.

Ive had my Pacesetters and ORY for over a year and half with no problems whatsoever!! Checked the fasteners one time after about a week or so of install and nothing at all since. I will say this, step one of the install should be to throw away the paper gaskets supplied with em and either re-use the stock metal gaskets (which I did on the driver side, got impatient waiting for my friend to deliver new ones) or get some new ones from the dealer, think I payed 12 bucks or so each for em.
