Also a friend of mine just got a 02 rcsb and contacted a very respectable speed shop, whom I will not throw under the buss for there opinion, they recommended the Dynatech, which they sell and I'm sure a very quality part, at a price of $1200!! They told him you get what you pay for, which is very true, but I have nothing but great things to say about the Pacesetters. I told him take the leftover $800 and get a converter and a tune!!

+1 to all above

I also somewhat agree with this, however you must remember that the dynatech kits come with cats. (i do believe they sell a catless system also, but anytime ive seen a dynatech kit for 1200+ its been a catted LT kit)

I meant to include the fact that $1200 was with cats. We both live in Mississippi which has no emissions testing whatsoever. One more tip, soak your 02s in PB Blaster or wd40 for like an hour before removing them!!! Stripped and broke 2 on my install!! Those suckers ain't cheap!! I used to work at a dealer so I got em at employee cost but still, OUCH!!

I have put pacesetters on two of my cars, and I swear I will never use anything else. The armour coat is great, they fit like a glove, and the performance gains are great for the money.

I am sure that you can get more out of a set of tuned length headers, but the install will be more of a pain in the ***.

***Reuse the old gaskets***

If you use the paper crap they give you, you'll be replacing them in a week. Just be somewhat gentle with the stock gaskets when you remove them.

you won't be disappointed

I have decided to get the headers without the ORY. I that going to be a problem? I need to keep the cats to pass inspection. Any advice?

bolt the headers up and drive straight to an exhaust shop so they can fab up a y pipe for you with cats... there shouldnt be any problem driving like this for very far as long as you dont punch it/take it very high in the rpms as there is no need to risk valve float...

+1, have an appointment ready at your favorite, or go straight to the nearest exhaust shop...

I just got off the phone with pacesetter and the guy I spoke with was ignorant, rude and un-helpfull. Does anyone know if the paceseetter LT's will fit my 99 6.0 2500?

All douche-bag could tell me was "we've never tested them on a 2500" Why the hell not I wonder??? I told him to send me a set and I'd give it a try and send them a report with pictures and he laughed at me.

Then I asked him what kind of starters he was building these around and he said "stock ones." Heaven forbid somebody built a high compression big cubic inch motor that needed an aftermarket starter....

I guess that's why pacesetter is still the red-headed stepchild of exhaust companies.

I have a 1500HD, which is similar to the 2500 (non-HD). I have the Pacesetter headers on my truck, it has been for a couple of months.
