Default Pacesetter LT install tips tricks

You guys have done the installs, I got a set with 4x4 y-pipe to install. Do i want the heads to be warm when I remove the manifold bolts? I have one broken off on the drivers rear (behind the steering shaft). Not sure why, the truck came that way when I bought it used. Probably was going to put headers on till that happened since it had duel exhaust already. Any idea how I can get that sucker of, not sure if its broke above or below the surface of the head.
The tranny crossmember has to come out, anything else I need to know?
Thanks

tranny cross member has to come out? damn it

you're probobly taking the head off to get that bolt out dude. sorry I'd be suprised if an E-Z out could get it out, but id be really hard pressed to think you could get an E-Z out and a drill on it with it on the car.

Let it cool off though, then blow PB blaster all over the bolts.

I did a little write up when I put mine on. Open to any questions.

Removing the tranny crossmember is not hard. Impact gun makes it easy.

I've done it several times, just annoying.

hopefully, my bolts wont be that bad. Everything (headers to cross member) was out 20k miles ago.
