Hey guys so basically I got a couple of questions I have a 2011 silverado 5.3 I found and ordered a set of pacesetter headers along with y pipe only thing is online it said part fits up to 09 only i dont see a difference so I ordered and gonna try an install anyone try this? Only thing different is that I have a six speed transmission so I might just have angle y pipe....any comments or suggestions?

 

Well i dont have pacesetters but i did a swap from 4l80e trans to 6l80e in my 08 Sierra and my OBX brand headers and y pipe still fit exactly same with no issues... they were for 08 gm trucks... cleared tranny just like i still had the 4spd auto..not sure if that helps u ..

 

Only thing a website said was that if u have a 6speed transmission u might just have to really angle the y pipe just tryna see I'f someone has done something like this

 

My OBX pipe drops down even with the trans cross member so it was prolly made for 6 spd autos as well .. it shudnt take much to modify it tho
