I'm thinking about ordering a set of pacesetter coated headers and offroad y pipe this week for my 2000 silverado. I was looking at the engine bay of my truck and it looks like something for the egr comes off of exhaust manifold. Do the pacesetter LT headers have the provision for that or what would I do if they dont? Also, where is a good place to buy just a corsa muffler?

 

im pretty sure you cant buy just a corsa muffler i think you have to buy the entire system

 

Not unless you get it off someone that bought an entire system

 

Thats what I did. I just bought the muffler from a guy on here, brand new still in the box for $350.00. What a great deal! All I did was post "Wanted: Corsa Sport muffler", and it was on there the same day. I have an 06' SSS 6.0 and my Pacestter LT's came with the EGR on it. Don't know why, but they did. I think they just keep it on the header just in case. Here's a pic.

 

$350 for just the muffler, makes me feel good about my deal. $369, Corsa Sport Catback, NIB, Delivered. Maybe that makes up for all the times I've gotten ripped in the past. lol

 

My pacesetters came with an egr on it. I hooked it up since I have to pass emissions testing every two years. It's been turned off in my tune, but the headers came with a block off plate. I think you cap the other side with a freeze plug.
