oxidizer, about cal-tracs and anyone else
#1
I need some info on the Cal-trac traction bars. I am comfortable with my power now but the best 60ft ever was 2.0 seconds. I could buy some slicks but I would use them once and then they would rot in my closet. I am running 305/45/r18 nitto 555r's and they grab fairly well. The people at caltrac told me that their traction bars actually bog down the engine too much on some customers. Does that sound true??? I WISH that would be a problem for me! Is this a wise decision for $319?
I know Oxidizer has them. Would appreciate any feed back.

Where have you been?
I have a similiar set up on my truck except with et streets.
You want have a problem with the truck boging down. I'm very happy with the caltrac kit. Good for 1.8-1.9 for the na rcsb.

Hey Coonass I hate to be off topic but did you ever figure out what was wrong with your Yank 3000? You said it would slip bad at 4000 RPM and it rattled I think??? I am about to get one and want to make sure it's all good.

the dummy that put my B&M deeper tranny pan on bent or warped the filter extender and the tranny was breathing air! I put the factory pan back on and everything works fine. I got a new extender. I need to put the pan back on.
