thanks all.
I didn't remove the thermo for daily use (I didn't do it before), it was for testing that the thermo wasn't the cause of high temp.
ok scenarios:
1. the catout after the 2 cat.conveter, and it's just one.
2. I guse this it, I think he reused it because it's steel!.
3. the thermo, will when I toke the car for changing the spark plug they left the car running and the temp gauge was on the red when I get into the car, but according to the dealer engineer that can cause only if it was left for long time, nore over I drove the car for long time.
I forget to tell you that I have removed the pipe from the throttle bady and installed an adapter to connect the 2 pipes (before the throttle and after).

they are installing the head back in the dealer workshop and it will take 3 days, I will update when new info.

If you bypassed the throttle body with coolant hose that is ok but make sure it is connected to the radiator. I am still suspicious about what the dealer mechanic said about overheating, I have left my truck idling for 4+ hrs when hunting (turkey in the spring) and it never overheated.

I would like to talk to that dealer about calling there mechanics, engineers, that is complete disgrace to real engineers.

Think there's something they're not saying. Doesn't just overheat like that, or burn gaskets to failure... I'm no pro, but something ain't right.

Somewhat worried about my truck now... I just did a cam swap and now I have been randomly overheating. Not everytime either. I'm hoping mine is just the thermostat.
