Have you shop double check the welds on the Magnaflow Y, mine started to come apart on me after about 2k miles... See the pics, the black spots are leaks where the weld came apart...

My buddy has a Magnaflow cat back on his civic and a couple of the welds did the same thing.. kinda dissapointed in magnaflows products like that.

well with this being said for a totally different set-up(honda rice)doing the same thing, should I just weld over the welds to keep it safe or would that weaken the welds even more? I think it would strenghten them if its done right but just something I thought of. If it will help then I will do it just cause. I dont wanna have to pull it back off in couple months to fix some cheap welds that didnt hold up ya know.

i had a magnaflow x-pipe that did the same ****.

the weld broke down both sides, and made my exhaust super loud and smelly. i ended up custom fabbing an xpipe at work, and replaced the magnaflow piece.
