Default Other upgrades for a 408?

If I was to stroke my LQ9 to a 408, what other upgrades would I need to do to the engine? I know I'll need a custom tune but what else? Bigger injectors? Bigger Fuel Pump? Any info is much appreciated as I'm still trying to learn this stroked LS1 stuff.

James
P.S. It's going to be for an N/A 4500 lb 4x4 if that helps any.

looks like you have a good idea of what you may need all ready. injectors for sure. fuel pump maybe but probably not, the stock pump is good to about 450rwhp. all the bolt ons would be nice. headers and exhaust for sure.

tranny probably wont last long either.

I just have a stock LQ9. I'll definitely be upgrading the cam and doing all the bolt ons. I was mainly concerned about the little things such as injectors and such. So the stock intake and throttle body would be fine with upgraded injectors? Also, what lb injectors would you recommend?

intake and tb are fine. you will want the 41's or 43's, whatever it is they call them. that is the largest one you can just bolt/plug in.

43lb injectors are the biggest, I think. Bigguy75 or something like that has some installed on his.
I think you need to do some bore work also to get to 408ci. Seem to remember at least a 0.030 over or possibly 0.060 teamed with the 4" stroke kit. Lots of info in the "Internal Engine" area on this, hit up those F-body guys. They are a great group and love to swap stories and mods.

.030 over and a 4" crank gives you a 408/409.

everything i read says this is the bad *** set up if you want a sturdy motor with a big power adder.
