how many quarts in a yank tt3000?

Default how many quarts in a yank tt3000?

hey guys, im fixin to install the yank, and was wondering how many quarts of oil i use, also, anything i should know?

Should be about 6 ... I'd get 8 just in case.

do i just fill it all the way up? and i just use trannsmission oil right?

I could only get abou t1 quart in it within about an hour. Make sure the trans is full when you get it all back together. Add another quart on top of it. Start it and immediatly shut it off. Re-fill the trans .. do that again, until it stops taking all the fluid out. Only overfill the trans on the initial startup though.

When you first start it up, the pump is gonna put ALL the fluid in the converter, that's why you wqant to start it and immediatly shut it off.
