Go with a Y. It will help more than straights with Exhaust Scavenging

i was going to order the y pipe but the guy at the exhaust shop said it would restrict more air than straits, so i figured i would get some opinions.

Sounds like your average grease monkey exhaust shop. I dont mean that to be degrading. My exhaust guy is exactly like that. Good dude, just doesnt know anything about real performance.

The 3inch ORY with a 3 inch single exhaust will be more then enough for most bolton trucks.

3 inch single is plenty. I run duals jus because I feel I'm not trying to force all that exhaust down one pipe. I do have an xpipe with dual 2 1/2inch. Jus my 2cents. Do what u want neither setup is a bad setup! Good luck bud!

An ory is technically "straits". It is straight pipe coming off the headers into a y merge, unless of course he is talking about running true duals off the headers with straight pipes. If that's the case slap him in the face.
