Default ORY question

What differences are there by eliminating cats with an off road y-pipe and keeping stock manifolds? I've already got a magnaflow cat back system. Will I lose bottom end performance?

no, removing the cats will always be gains in hp and torque unless the pcm throws a code and goes into some sort of limp mode. any idea where to buy an ory for a set of jba shorty headers? i think it uses the stock y-pipe.

buying a ORY is kinda stupid for shorty's. Just buy some LT's and the ORY to go with it.

i have stainless ceramic coated headers covered under warranty, i'm not going to replace them with some mild steel longtubes. when i do long tubes i will get some nice stainless long tubes with merge collectors. for now i would like a nice y pipe to eliminate my cats. any links to the one in jegs? i couldnt find it.

Try this. Not sure if it will fit on an 07 classic or not, but I believe this is what the other guys are talking about. I think the only problem with it fitting would be the placement of the bung for one of the rear O2 sensors. With no cats you don't need the rear O2's anyway so just plug it.
