Default Ordering my 6.0L today

2004 LQ4 with 33,000miles
Patriot Gold dual spring setup
Either the TFS cam:
TFS Stg 3 cam is a 228/230 .585/.585 112+4 part # TFS-30602003

Or the Patriot cam:
226/226 .585/.585 on a 112

I think that's the Patriot cam specs...

How's that sound, got headers, Fuddle 9" converter, 4.10s locker, and Wheatley does my tuning...

See any problems?

the 228/230 will be too big for your converter, I would stick with the patriot 226 to better fit your converter...

228/230 that would be over camming your engine . . . unless you get a bigger stall

Got the LQ4, Patriot gold dual-spring setup, and patriot cam coming in

Everything should be here mid next week and I'm hoping to have it all in by the end of next weekend and then off to Wheatley....

I'm excited, truck should be a lot more fun

Keep us posted on your project. Sounds good. What kind and how much stall? What other mods? Let us know how it runs at the track. Good Luck.

It's a Fuddle converter, with the 4.8L it flashed stalled to about 2400rpms at the drag strip on 28" slicks. I'm hoping it will flash up to over 3000 with the 6.0L.

Other little mods are 8.1L injectors, built tranny, 4.10s locker, that's about it...

Thanks man...

about how much does an lq4 with low miles go for? just the the bare minium of what u need. i guess just the short block? when i mean minium i mean just extra cubes. or is there more to it? also how much do installs usually go for?

I paid $1000 + $150 shipping for a LQ4 longblock with 33,000 miles.

Install is probably going to run you close to $1000 but that's just a guess, I have never formally priced it out...
