Is it ok to just install that now, even if I am going to build up the tranny later. Will it help in the mean while is what I am asking? Cause still wondering if I should get a transgo shift kit installed or not!

all the servo does is put more pressure on the line.thus hard shifts. put a kit in and youll magnify the effect.but i think with out the kit your tranny will slip instead of shift hard . may be wrong. i did the kit first then the servo. noticed a big differance in shift firmness with the kit, and even more when i added the servo. but don't use the tow/haul, if you do this it puts an ungodly amount of pressure on the line and somethings gonna break. not saying i did or anything
, but i sheared the output shaft in two and cracked the case housing. not a pretty site.

Hey, I run a full TransGo (no washers) and both billet servos. The shifts are very nice, quick, and crisp. This is with STOCK programming still. I can barely bark the 285's out back at WOT manually shifting 1-2 shift. It is plenty firm and works well.
If you are just going to be doing TransGo or servos, do the TransGo. The trans works far better with a smarter valve body

i was going to get a shift kit but after i put the super servo in i dont think i need one. all the shifts are fast and firm. TQM sucks though. i get a good 2nd gear scratch too.

I am telling you guys, the TransGo makes a world of difference. I wonder what my truck would be like shift wise with revised Trans parameters and no TqMgt with the servos and shift kit...
