Default ordered my lt's today what do I need now?

Well I ordered my Pacesetter lt's and or ypipe. DO I need new gaskets or are my gm gaskets goodto go? My truck is a 2008 gmc I ordered the older body style as tsp said it would be no problem....What else do I need??? Tune will be next week as soon as headers are on. I'm thing a verter would tie everything in. 2008 gmc 1500 5.3 gmpp intake 18' magnaflow and predator currently. Thoughts?

i would suggest going to the dealer and picking up a new oem set of gaskets (they work better than any aftermarket gasket) and enjoy. some header wrap is also a good idea if the headers aren't coated to keep them looking nice and to keep under-hood temps down.
IMO don't add a stall unless you're swapping out your cam.

I was wondering if I could reuse the ones I had....But everytime I 1/2 *** something it always bites me in the ***. I was thinking one of those smalls trailerblazer stalls my truck is a crewcab so I really want it to move outa the hole. It runs like a scalded ape on the highway where tourqe managment is not so evident.

If you didnt get coated LT's then i suggest sandblasting them and spraying them with high temp paint, thats what i did and they still look great.
I reused my stock gaskets with no leaks. Also youll want to get a good pair of band clamps cause the pacesetter u bolt clamps suck.
Good luck and have fun, headers are a great mod!

i have heard of people reusing the stock gaskets but i change them everytime i change headers. a small converter like a tbss converter should be fine if you arent doing a cam swap, i had my tt2600 behind a bone stock engine and loved the way it drove

The old style Y-pipe has the catback flange at a different angle I think.
