I ordered 2 of the 4" round, 2 1/2" inlet/outlet, 16 1/2" long Dynomax Bullets.

I hope I see at least a little bit of a performance gain by switching from flowmasters. I remember some people saying that they are louder and sound better also.

How do ya'll think they will sound like with 4"x22" tips? Deep, loud, too loud, like crap? Does anyone know how much they outflow flowmaster (cfm)?

I love the way my flowmasters sound but, I guess I need a more free flowing exhaust. I remember when I switched from glasspacks to flowmasters it seemed slower.

 

Personally i think it will sound like crap with tips on there. Well i will describe it like a redneck truck. I personally think tips give a horrible sound when used with a pretty much open exhaust.

they are going to be very raspy especially with tips.i went back and had a walker x-pipe put in. now it sounds kick ***.

i believe they are a little of both.if you like a good exhaust sound that is a little loud then you will not be dissappointed.

 

Where did you order your bullets from??

 

i have a 3" single bullet muffler dumped. i think it sounds pretty good. and under WOT its pretty loud.i wouldnt get tips if i were you but thats just me.

 

I have a single 3" bullet, and dumped it is like a frickin nascar I now have a right rear pipe added to it, but it sounded really good like that, just loud. It is still really loud like it is. I got mine from summit for like 32 plus shipping.

What do they sound like at idle?

 

they sound great at idle especially with a cam. I have an x-pipe with two 2.5" bullets and personaly i love the sound. Cruisin around and at idle it is really mellow but at WOT it has a great "nascar" sound. GrayGMC's does sound really good and his has the cats on it to.
