Default Optimal cam lift for truck intake and stock heads (862)

I am still figuring out the next step I want to go with my truck. I have pretty much decided on a 3000 TC. Now picking out a decent cam. I think I have a decent understanding of the various aspects of a cam. Those being LSA, duration which both contribute to DCR and overlap.

My question is what would be the optimum (not max) valve lift for the truck intake and stock heads... Maybe I am way off when picking a cam lift based on intake and heads, but according to several threads it seems important... For example given my current engine (4.8, 862 heads, and truck intake) some say that anything over .55X is a waste others say it is not... I have looked at the intake flow data posted in the sticky and it looks like the truck intake still flows good at .55X lift compared to .50X...

I have been using a DCR calculator I found on Tech and using the same lobe (Comps XE), given the same duration and lsa but with different lifts the DCR is almost unaffected and the overlap stays the same, so what is the benefit of a larger lift?

Attached is the spreadsheet I am working with, I believe I filled out all the fields correctly and if not they are all the same so it really should not matter...

Thanks
