As much as I go back and forth with you guys on which SC/Turbo is best you must realize I think the Radix is a great kit and often reccomend it even over my STS setup.

Say if you mash the throttle and the stock converter flashes you to about 1900-2000rpm or so you will already be at full boost? If so that is pretty wicked. How does it achieve that? I know on a centrifugal SC you can change how fast boost comes on by changing step-up ratios and such but I am foggy on how a roots style does it.

Centrifugals gain the ability to produce more airflow as rpm of the impeller increases, so boost increases with rpm.
Instant boost would be badass!

I love launching at 7psi. Takes me a sec to get it there but when I do I know a killer 60' is about to happen as long as I didn't get too much heat buildup. That EV08, I raced from a stop, sure was suprised when I rocketed past him in the 60' ON THE STREET. Hahaha
I am taking it easy this week so I don't blow this tranny before I get some real track #s.

maybe I'm to old to remember right, but when we are talking instant boost I associate that with off idle boost, i.e. no brake stalling. In this respect I believe the radix (roots) is superior hands down.
What is everyone else's intrepetation of instant boost? otherwise we may be talking apples to oranges...
