i say go for it it would prolly work well and be a good power upgrade and did you say you had hardened pushrods already ??? if not then spending the extra money on the new cam (and possibly new pushrods and springs depending on what you have already) you could go find a good deal on a 6.0 and i bet you would be much happier with that and for your nitrous go with a revers split nitrous cam similar to the one off of yelos sticky if you dont like that one you already mentioned a custom grind get them to grind you one

You'll gain a few more HP with it. Probably lose a little more grunt. Get it tuned and it should run OK.

You plan on pulling the rockers off? Too much lift with them.

without having that converter restalled i'm not sure you'd gain any in the 1/4. that cam should pull up high pretty well, but i agree that below about 3000 it's going to be sluggish.

as a matter of fact a 2800 9 1/2 inchger should be on the way soon on the stall. i am still looking at this cam. figure the juice will take care of most of the low end. and yes i will be selling the rockers and cam i have now soon if i get it.
